BAHT Bursary Scheme

The BAHT Bursary scheme is one way in which we aim to meet the objectives of the BAHT charity, as set out in the ‘Strategic Plan’. The scheme offers a variety of bursaries in order to support education in the field of hand therapy in as many different ways as possible, for as many as possible.

BAHT currently offers a selection of Educational Bursaries for its members. Preference will be given to those members who have not previously received a BAHT bursary. Bursaries can be applied for retrospectively up to 3 months after the course has been completed.

If successful, the maximum award for a course will be the ‘early bird’ fee.

On completion of the course, submission of a written report is required.

To read about the experiences of members who have enjoyed BAHT’s support to attend conferences and courses, please click here.

Before you download the application form please read the following information under BAHT Educational Bursaries, How to apply and Post-project report criteria.

You can also download a sample application form and the General Bursary Marking Form.  This will help you understand the marking process and will assist you to provide all the necessary information in your application.
