BAHT Annual Conference

BAHT ANNUAL CONFERENCE 2012

DATES ANNOUNCED : nOVEMBER 9th & 10th 2012

VENUE: BAILBROOK HOUSE, BATH

This conference will see a full two-day programme focusing on varying aspects of Hand Trauma - surgery, therapy and the psychological effects on the patient. 

This years BAHT conference takes us to Bath. Nourished by natural hot springs, Bath offers a unique experience with stunning architecture, great shopping and iconic attractions.

We are excited to introduce our first 2 day conference with an extended and themed programme. We welcome Lynn Feehan as our key note speaker. Lynn is an internationally published and spoken Canadian physiotherapist with over 30 years experience in hand therapy. She is the current IFSHT president and has a special interest in fractures and flexor tendon rehabilitation. We also have a lecture from Tim Watson, Tim is currently a Professor of Physiotherapy in the School of Health & Emergency Professions at the University of Hertfordshire and has many publications on his specialist interest of electrotherapy and tissue repair. He will be lecturing on the role of ultrasound in the management of fractures.
We also have another entertaining lecture from BAHT's president, Mike Hayton, Consultant Orthopaedic consultant, who is linking the 2012 London Olympics into our trauma theme with an insight into sports injuries.

By popular demand we are aiming to increase the number of workshops on offer this year, and, of course, regular features such as the AGM and awards ceremony will take place.
