BAHT funding

BAHT has again been able to set aside a sum of money to help to further develop knowledge in the field of Hand Therapy and to develop research capacity in Hand Therapists.

One larger project or a number of smaller projects may be funded depending on the quality of applications. We realise that it is difficult for clinicians to carry out research in the workplace so you may use the funding to buy yourself some time out.

This is your chance to do something for yourself but also something for the profession.

Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC)
Educational travel/training bursaries available to AHPs to promote awareness and understanding of the care of patients with arthritis and musculoskeletal disease. Bursaries available to attend

relevant conferences, training courses or to visit hospital units. Advertised February, May and October. Closing dates, April, July and October. Visit http://www.arc.org.uk/research

Health Technology Assessment (HTA) and the Health Technology Devices (HTD) programmes offer research funds and are currently interested in involving AHPs. Visit http://www.ncchta.org

The Health Foundation - Nursing and Allied Health Professions Research Training Fellowships.
