  • The deadline for applications to these posts is 5pm on Thursday 14 June 2012.

  • BAHT are happy to announce that one of our members has had verbal confirmation that they have been successful in their application to sit on the NICE OA Guidelines Committee as the Occupational Therapist. This means that there will hopefully be some hand therapy representation in the guidelines for the treatment of Osteoarthritis.
  • Changes to the BAHT Constitution - Update: At the 2011 AGM a vote was held to pass new changes to the BAHT Constitution. Unfortunately, due to an unforseen legal requirement, these changes must be applied to the Memorandum and Articles Document (the legal document formalising the company's make-up and constituional affairs) and then be voted on again by the membership. The executive committee is working with BAHT's lawyers to make the required alterations; the M&A will then be available for members on the website 28 days prior to the 2012 AGM where another vote wil be held. BAHT will retain pending 'To be resubmitted recognition status' as a CSP Professional Network until the time of the new vote.

 

  • CSP -·BAHT urgently needs our physiotherapy members for whom we have no record of their CSP number to respond to the recently sent email and letter requesting this information. It is very important for BAHT to know if you are a CSP member and if so, for us to collect your CSP membership number. Without being able to demonstrate we have this information BAHT is facing possible non recognition as a professional network, we have until the end of june to collect all the missing CSP numbers for our physiotherapy members. Many thanks for your assistance in responding promptly to our letter and email.
