How to apply

The research grant application is a two tier process where an initial proposal is submitted to the research grant review committee by 18th May 2012. If accepted, a complete application is requested via the full application form by 23rd September 2012.

The lead researcher must be a member of BAHT.


1.    Download the guidance and application forms.

2.    Submit outline proposal to BAHT Research Grant Review Committee (RGRC) by email only to abirchbaht@yahoo.co.uk by 18th May 2012.  Late applications will not be considered

3.    You will receive e-mail acknowledgement on its receipt.

4.    Outline applications will be reviewed by the RGRC working group including experts in the field.

5.    If successful full application will be invited.

6.    Submit full application by 23rd September 2012 (13 page application document - must be word processed)

7.    Successful applicants will be notified.

8.    Projects must be completed within 24 months.

Please note: grant money needs to be reclaimed from BAHT by the applicant themselves. Invoices from the applicants trust/organisation will not be accepted.
