Funded Project Lead Opportunity: Maximising the opportunities for personal and professional development through mentored practice - development of an online learning module
As you are aware from a previous newsletter we submitted a funding request to the CSP for a project focused to developing an interactive online mentoring course - ‘Mentorship: maximising the opportunities for personal and professional development’.
The project supports a CSP initiative to promote mentorship as a means of PD amongst CSP members, but importantly this project will supersede our existing online course set up a number of years ago to support individuals wishing to become a mentor for individuals on a MACP approved route to membership.
Having now secured funding we are now looking to identify an individual to take this project forward over the next 12 months.
The appointee should have a background or interest consistent with the focus on mentoring in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. The applicant will be a chartered physiotherapist who possesses a higher degree and has experience of
- conducting literature reviews
- on line learning and developing educational resources
- project management
The applicant will have the ability to work to deadlines and previous experience of project work including working with key stakeholders.
- An evidence synthesis of contemporary approaches to mentorship with relevance to health and a focus on physiotherapy and patient outcomes
- A high quality evidence-based interactive on line learning course on mentorship hosted through the MACP website (10 hours to include self-directed and interactive learning activities, downloadable resources to support mentor and mentee development)
Closing date: Sunday 16th June 2019
