We are looking to recruit experienced occupational therapists who specialise in Hands/Plastics to join our supportive and motivated community of 60 independent OTs.
Our recruitment process is very informal and conversational, and we are more than happy for you to chat to one or more of our existing OTs to get a revealing perspective about working for Rehabilitate. Our relationship with associates is designed to be supportive to those exploring working independently for the first time and OTs that have taken this path with us have expressed how our systems and guidance have made the step both easier and more reassuring.
'Rehabilitate Therapy Ltd' is an independent occupational therapy business, providing assessment and ongoing rehabilitation programmes across the UK. In addition to everything you would expect from a high-quality occupational therapy service; we are passionately client-centred, and goal focussed and are therefore always looking for occupational therapists to join us who share and feel comfortable with our approach. Our OTs often reflect that they love their work with Rehabilitate Therapy as they can be the OT they trained to be.
Scope wise our referrals are wide-ranging and in addition to our very strong team of assessment and rehabilitation OTs who cover neuro, orthopaedic, and polytrauma, we have specific teams one of which specialises in Hand / Plastics.
Our referrals are typically within the litigation process and our OTs work within MDTs delivering expansive occupational therapy programmes to a range of clients. OTs are extremely autonomous and empowered in their work but also supported in many respects. The number of clients depends entirely upon your circumstances and therefore availability.
We operate with an associate model (self-employed) and have very busy OTs and others that are much more part-time NHS / Statutory – the relationship is flexible. We are always particularly keen to talk to OTs who can offer us reasonable capacity. We offer excellent pay rates but also the opportunity to be part of a community of progressive and passionate OTs and all that comes with that.
